Do you remember those items/experiences as a child that bring up feelings of nostalgia? For me they are normally simple things that cause me think back to my childhood and the carefree life. I’ve decided to dedicate Thursdays to those old memories.

For my first post, I’m going to take you back to the days when I didn’t always have money for candy, so I did what any creative child with a NEED would do, I made some. My ingredients – dry Kool-aid and salt – it was a type of powdered candy. I know I know, it wasn’t something everyone liked, sometimes I used sugar, but I really liked the tangy taste of the salt. Everytime I hear someone say kids need privacy I think of the little boy around the corner……..

It seems some of the teens of today have lost their mind. Recently as many as 8 teenagers lured a 16 year-old in a house and videotaped themselves taking turns beating her. Now – I find it interesting these little cowards had to all gang up on the girl – but you know that’s the way cowards do it.

The plan was to post this nonsense on youtube and mypace, but I guess the authorities beat them to it. Reports indicate that these little hellions will be charged as adults.

On a side note: I knew a few sistahs back in the day that would have whooped every one of those heffas. They would have been the ones in the hospital. And the video camera would have been broken into itty-bitty pieces.
